1. Choose your apartment and send a Booking Request Execute a search from the start page for the dates of your stay and no. of persons (and if you like area). Choose an apartment, use the price calculation (prices might differ due to the duration of stay, number of persons and/or season) to calculate the price of your stay and then click on Booking Request. Please fill in the upcoming form and send it. If you have further questions you can contact us via e-mail or phone or add these in the notes field of the booking request (then they will be answered in a separate e-mail). In the next step you will be informed, as soon as the owner confirmed or denied availability (in general availability dates on our site are up to date, only in case of exception it might happen, that the owner denies). Assumed the owner confirmed you will get an e-mail with information on how to proceed. From this moment on the apartment is reserved for you at least for the next 24 hours. 2. Secure the booking by making a prepayment At booking a prepayment of app. 30% of the rental price is due. In the e-mail you receive as soon as the owner confirmed, the amount of the prepayment and your booking details are stated. Please check if your booking details are correct and let us know your preferred payment method. Payments can be made via Paypal, credit card (Master Card or Visa) or bank transfer: (especially if you book from outside Italy Paypal is the preferred option). Please keep on mind that all costs incurred through bank transfer need to be paid on top of the amount. Please note that checks are in no case accepted. Only after the prepayment is done the booking is final and you will receive your booking confirmation with all information for your arrival. The rest of the payment is due in cash on arrival or in advance to the owners account. Paypal / Credit Card To pay by Paypal or credit card, please use the links in the e-mail you will receive, as soon as the owner confirms availability. In case you have problems with that, please let us know. In that case we could send you a Paypal money request or you can call to transmit us your credit card details. Bank transfer (only for bookings more than two weeks ahead) Please transfer the exact amount (in case of bank transfer fees, please add them to the amount) in euro, as over- or underpayments might cause trouble. As soon as the prepayment has been processed we will send you a booking confirmation containing the full address of the apartment and owner contact. 3. Your arrival Please get in touch with the owner at least 2 days before your arrival and make an appointment. Please bring the rest of the payment (+ deposit payment if required for the apartment of your choice) with you in cash (euro) and your contact person will welcome you at the apartment (if not agreed otherwise) and hand you out the keys (in case you need more than one set of keys, please ask the owner for this in advance, immediately after receiving your booking confirmation). If not agreed otherwise with the owner, arrival time is between 3pm and 8 pm, checkout at the day of your departure until 10 am. If you have further questions we can always assist you. To improve our service constantly we would be happy if you share the experience of your stay with us after your return and send us an e-mail. Please notice that South Italy is not the owner of the apartments. A rental contract is made between you and the landlord of the apartment. Cancellation fees (South Italy) more than 30 days prior to arrival: 50% of the prepayment (10% of the rental price) In case the prepayment was less than 100 euro, you will get a coupon for a future booking for the returned amount. 30 days prior to arrival to no show: 100% of the prepayment (20% of the rental price) In case of an earlier departure or change of the number of persons, prepayments are not refundable. In addition to that there might be cancellation fees by the owner for cancellations less than 30 days (or more for rental periods of one month or more) in advance.
